Lue
Lue Thao, also known as Bboy Finisher, is a professional dancer, instructor, and performer with a passion for breaking and supporting the dance community. He travels across the U.S. to share his talent and love for the art of dance. In 2017, Lue founded Cypher Side with the support of fellow artists from Indigenous Roots Cultural Arts Center. By February 2021, he officially opened the doors to Cypher Side Dance School in the Twin Cities, realizing his vision of creating a space for dance and community.
Born in Thailand and raised on the East Side of Saint Paul, Lue’s dance journey has led him to national and local stages. His career highlights include performing in Justin Timberlake's Super Bowl 52 halftime show, Vanilla Ice’s "I Love the 90s Tour," and alongside Tori Kelly at the Prince Tribute Concert. Since 2015, he has also been performing with the First Avenue Breakers, showcasing at Minnesota Timberwolves and Lynx games.
Lue has made live TV appearances on Fox 9 News, KARE11, and TPT, continuing to share his love for dance with broader audiences.
